Dereth Wood
Director of Operations
As Director of Operations, Dereth Wood is responsible for customer support, network development and the operation of learndirect across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Dereth first joined Ufi in 2000 as the Head of Ufi in the South West region, and was previously Hub Director and Lifelong Learning Manager at Connexions West of England. She has also worked as the Education Manager for the local Training and Enterprise Council, as a senior manager in the voluntary sector and early in her career was a maths, physics and chemistry teacher.
Dereth graduated from York University with a degree in Maths and Economics and also has an MA in Public Policy Studies.
