Michelle Lofthouse
Director of Business Development
As Director of Business Development, Michelle Lofthouse is responsible for growing Ufi’s commercial income and exploring opportunities to work with new partners and customers.
Michelle started her career as a comprehensive school teacher in Suffolk, and went on to become Director of Customer Development at Cambridge International Examinations - the international arm of the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES). She joined Ufi in January 2004, looking after the operation of learndirect in the North West.
Michelle has a degree in Economics and Management from the University of Cardiff, a PGCE, an honorary MA from Cambridge University and an MEd in Educational Assessment from the University of Bristol. She is also a Chartered Marketer with the CIM Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing.
