Carmel Flately
Carmel Flatley, former Chief Executive of NHS Professionals Special Health Authority, joined the board of UfI Ltd. in December 2006.
A champion of learning, Carmel has 20+ years' experience as Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources and Training Officer at McDonald's Restaurants Limited where she was responsible for all aspects of people management and organisational development relating to a 50,000 strong workforce. Her portfolio extended to a range of support departments while leading on business planning and executive development. She is a Companion of the CIPD and has worked with both the CIPD and the CBI providing leadership in both Diversity and Education and Training roles.
Carmel is American and has lived in London for over 25 years. She is married and a mother of two.
