learndirect at Learning Technologies

learndirect’s Director of Products and Marketing, Kirstie Donnelly, spoke at the 2010 Learning Technologies conference, held at London’s Olympia 2 from 27 – 28 January.

Kirstie held an interactive session based around ‘creating the right environment for online learning.’

She explored some of the techniques used to create a community of positive e-learners, including simple confidence building measures, creating applications for mobile learning and making effective use of popular tools such as Facebook.

The Learning Technologies conference is Europe’s leading showcase of organisational learning and the technology used to support learning at work, with more than 130 exhibitors and 50 free seminars.

The exhibition showcased the latest advances in workplace learning and learning technology and how these are influencing how and what we learn at work.
